L’anno millenovecentouno, addì cinque di Settembre a ore pomeridiane una e minuti -, nella Casa Comunale di Meta, aperta al pubblico.
Avanti di me Cav. Cafiero Clemente , Sindaco Uffiziale dello Stato Civile, vestito in forma ufficiale, sono personalmente comparsi:
1.° Trapani Giacomo, celibe, di anni quarantatre, capitano marittimo, nato in Meta, residente in Meta, figlio del fu Crescenzo, residente in vita a Meta, e di Russo Maria Laura residente in Meta; 2.° De Liguori Maria, nubile, di anni ventisei, civile, nata in Bari nelle Puglie, residente in Meta, figlia del Cav. Enrico, residente in Meta, e di Imbò Elvira, residente in Meta, i quali mi ànno richiesto di unirli in matrimonio; a questo effetto mi ànno presentato il documento sottodescritto; e dall’esame di questo, nonchè di quelli già prodotti all’atto della richiesta delle pubblicazioni, i quali tutti muniti del mio visto, inserisco nel volume degli allegati a questo registro, risultandomi nulla ostare alla celebrazione del loro matrimonio, ho letto agli sposi gli articoli centotrenta, centotrentuno e centotrentadue del Codice Civile, e quindi ho domandato allo sposo se intende di prendere in moglie la qui presente De Liguori Maria, e a questa se intende di prendere in marito il qui presente Trapani Giacomo; ed avendomi ciascuno risposto affermativamente a piena intelligenza anche dei testimoni sotto indicati, ho pronunziato in nome della legge che i medesimi sono uniti in matrimonio. A quest’atto sono stati presenti:
Paturzo Emmanuele di anni cinquantadue, Impiegato Civile, e Cafiero Ernesto di anni trentatre, Impiegato Civile, entrambi residenti in questo Comune. Il documento presentato è il certificato delle pubblicazioni eseguite in questo Comune nei giorni di Domenica venticinque Agosto e primo Settembre del corrente anno millenovecentouno .
Letto il presente atto a tutti gli intervenuti, lo hanno i medesimi meco sottoscritto.

The year nineteen hundred and one, on the 5th of September at one and a half hours in the afternoon - in the Municipal House of Meta, open to the public.
Go ahead of me Cav. Cafiero Clemente, official mayor of the Civil Status, dressed in official form, have personally appeared:
1. ° Trapani Giacomo, unmarried, aged forty-three, captain maritime, born in Meta, residing in Meta, son of the late Crescenzo, living in Meta, and of Russo Maria Laura residing in Meta; 2. ° De Liguori Maria, single, aged twenty-six, civil, born in Bari in Puglia, resident in Meta, daughter of Cav. Enrico, a resident of Meta, and of Imbò Elvira, a resident of Meta, who requested me to unite them in marriage; to this effect the document described below was presented to me; and from the examination of this, as well as those already produced at the time of requesting the publications, all bearing my visa, insert in the volume of attachments to this register, resulting in nothing to prevent the celebration of their marriage, I read to the newlyweds the articles one hundred and thirty, one hundred and thirty and one hundred and thirty two of the Civil Code, and so I asked the bridegroom if he intends to take the present De Liguori Maria as wife, and to this if he intends to take in here the present Trapani Giacomo; and having each answered affirmatively to the full intelligence of the witnesses indicated below, I have pronounced in the name of the law that the same are united in marriage. To this act were present:
Paturzo Emmanuele of fifty-two years, Civil Employee, and Cafiero Ernesto of thirty-three years, Civil Employee, both residing in this Municipality. The document presented is the certificate of the publications made in this Municipality on Sunday, the twenty-fifth August and the first September of the current year one thousand nine hundred and one.
Having read this document to all the participants, they have the same agreement with me.
